Who we are
Anstey Energy was founded by Aaron Anstey, who is their lead assessor.
Aaron has an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University, and has worked in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector for over 20 years. He has helped organisations and home owners save energy in the UK and overseas in both private and commercial sectors covering buildings and transport .
He enjoys helping clients to save energy (and money) and sees this as a win win for all! He can recommend relatively small lifestyle changes that can make sometimes significant savings, and can advise on the most appropriate heating, power and renewable energy technologies.
Aaron is personally committed to living more sustainably and endeavours to cycle or get the train to most appointments. In his spare time he has a love of nature, the outdoors and there is nothing he likes better than paddleboarding down a river.
Aaron’s qualifications and professional accreditations are as follows:

- BA (Joint Hons) French and Management Studies
- Domestic and commercial energy assessor (Level 3 and Level 4)
- Display energy certificate (DEC) qualified
- Legionnaires Risk Assessment competent person
